Albums of Heritage – Jaipur Chapter Complete
The pilot project of the Albums of Heritage has been successfully completed. The Jaipur team documented XX sites and held 4 exhibitions in schools and convention centers in the city. Over one thousand prominent citizens attended the events and the work was profiled in all of the leading local news papers and national television. Albums of Heritage – Jaipur Chapter Receives Mayor’s Award
The Jaipur City Mayor, Ashok Parnami, awarded Rs. 21,000 to the Albums of Heritage in recognition of the fine work completed by the high school led team of students. He further expressed his hope that the work would be continued by students of the local community schools in future years.
Alia Group Signs on as Sponsor to Albums of Heritage – Mumbai
India leading marketing agency and design hot-shop, Alia Group, has agreed to sponsor the Albums of Heritage project in Mumbai for 2009 - 10. Anissa Malhotra, the student Project Coordinator, said, “We are excited to highlight the proud history of Mumbai’s architecture to the world through the Albums of Heritage. There is so much to be studied and profiled here that it is a treasure in the waiting”.
Albums of Heritage Foundation Approved as Tax-Exempt, Non-Profit Organization
The US IRS agency has approved the 501c(3) status of the Albums of Heritage Foundation. All contributions will be exempt from US federal and state taxes.
